Our Academies

The Empower Learning Academy Trust was established in July 2011. We currently have three secondary schools and three primary-level schools within our trust.

Hall Mead is an Ofsted rated Outstanding school based in Upminster. We are a converter academy with specialisms in Technology and Languages. Our learning community is an extended family in which all members feel secure and supported. Our staff and pupils are healthy, cared for and caring. We enable the development of successful learners, confident individuals and responsible citizens.

The Brittons Academy is an Ofsted rated Good school for 11-16 year olds. Our vibrant, caring and innovative learning environment is underpinned by high expectations and high aspirations where every child has the right to learn in a safe environment. The school continues on its improvement journey and are very proud of the achievements of our hardworking students.

Bower Park Academy is an 11-16 academy converter in Romford, and positioned at the heart of the local community. We provide a caring and supportive environment, where students are nurtured and supported to achieve success. This will be achieved by building a strong learning community and culture of learning consisting of students, staff, parents and the wider community.

Hacton is a warm and friendly primary school in Hornchurch, rated Outstanding by Ofsted in 2015 and 2021. At the heart of Hacton is a dedicated team of staff who work together to develop children’s academic abilities and life skills through engaging and inspiring lessons. We are proud that our pupils enjoy school: children feel supported, valued and motivated to achieve personal excellence.

At Ardleigh Green Infant School our aim is for staff and children to reach their full potential within a caring, supportive and stimulating environment, characterised by excellence, enjoyment and high-quality teaching and learning. We consider ourselves to be a forward thinking school dedicated to Working Together, Learning Together and Growing Together.

At Ardleigh Green Junior School we believe in developing our children’s learning potential so they become resilient, resourceful, respectful, responsible and reflective learners. Our creative curriculum ensures that all children leave our school well equipped to commence the next stage of their learning journey. We are committed to meeting the academic, physical and emotional needs of every child.
